The ensemble

VPC Ensemble is the live form of Virtual Perfection Cowboy (VPC), the project of composer and multimedia artist Dash Lunde. Electric viola, flute through a pedal board, drums, voice, and a dancer in wearable percussion play together inside a generative visual synthesizer that listens to all of them.

The music moves through ambient, spiritual jazz and psychedelic rock. Sounds recall Carlos Niño, Nala Sinephro, and a touch of David Gilmour. The sets are slow to arrive and they take their time.
